Pakistan opens walk-in vaccination drive for citizens aged 60 to 64
Islamabad: Head of National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) chief Asad Umar has announced that citizens aged between 60 and 64 years can walk into their designated vaccination center from tomorrow (Sunday) to get Covid-19 vaccination.
Taking to Twitter, the federal Minister for Planning and Development Minister said the walk-in facility for citizens above 65 years of age has already been opened.
“All those 60 and above who are registered go to your vaccination center and get vaccinated,” he said Adding that vaccination centers will remain open on Sunday as well.

The federal government has provided new consignment of the Covid-19 vaccine to the provinces.
Pakistan has reported 157 deaths in one day as the third wave of the pandemic continued to rage across the country.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 5,908 cases of coronavirus were reported while 157 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 16,999.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 790,016.
As many as 682,290 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,682 critical cases.
