The PTI leader Qureshi said he would consider the interests of Pakistan in any case.


Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Monday the dialogue with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) team was successful.
Qureshi addressed the journalists outside the Anti-Terrorism Court of Islamabad, "We supported the Stand-by Agreement (SBA) for the sake of Pakistan as there was a risk of default." He claimed that cracks were to blame for the PDM's gloomy future.
"Maulana Fazlur Rehman express dissatisfied over PML-N during a press conference yesterday (Sunday). He claimed that the apparent split between the PML-N and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) portended an intriguing political development.
He said the PTI supported the agreement for the sake of Pakistan to avert risk of default and contain inflation.
The PTI leader said he would consider the interests of Pakistan in any case.
Qureshi discussed cricket as well, saying that everyone was focused on the approaching World Cup. "Pakistan has always had positive thinking. The Indian cricket team's reservations about visiting Pakistan are baseless, he said.
