Islamabad: Qari (Quranic teacher) who was involved in assaulting a child at a school in Sector I-10 of Islamabad has been arrested.
A case has been registered against the Qari at Sector I-10, and an investigation has been initiated.
The video of the Qari's violence against the child went viral on social media, sparking outrage.
According to the police, the suspect, Qari Naeemullah, targeted his student during a teaching session, subjecting the child to violence.
Legal proceedings have been initiated against the accused.
