The IPP president ordered Noman Langrial and Awn Chaudhry to quit from the cabinet last month.

Lahore: Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) leaders Nauman Langrial and Awn Chaudhry on Thursday resigned from their positions as the prime minister's special aides in line with the party's commitment.
The IPP president ordered Noman Langrial and Awn Chaudhry to quit from the cabinet last month. He said that Langrial and Chaudhry were independent cabinet members and that the party had no affiliation with the PDM-led administration. He said, “The IPP will contest election separately,” he added.
Both Awn Chaudhry and Nauman Langrial served in the federal cabinet before joining IPP.
According to IPP's information secretary Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, the party has made the decision to run in the general election under the eagle flag.
She said on Thursday that a request for the registration of a party logo will be submitted to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) this week.
The electoral watchdog has previously requested applications for election symbols from the eligible political parties.
