The operation was carried out in Multan and Gujranwala.


Multan: During operations conducted in Punjab, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has successfully arrested five wanted terrorists belonging to a banned organization.
According to the CTD spokesperson, the arrested terrorists were taken into custody in Gujranwala and Multan.
Investigations are underway after filing cases against them for their involvement in terrorist activities.
The CTD officials have revealed that the apprehended terrorists were found in possession of Afghan identity cards, explosive materials, detonators, mobile phones, and weapons.
They have been identified as Hanif, Syed Arif Syedu, Tariq Khalid, and Abdul Sattar.
CTD spokesperson further informed that during the past week, a total of 46 suspicious individuals have been arrested in various operations.
