The defence minister says they are committed and will soon succeed in bringing the country out crises.

Sialkot: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif strongly criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday, attributing the country's weakened economy to their "flawed" policies.
Asif expressed determination to lead the country out of darkness, stating, “We are committed and will soon succeed in bringing the country out of crises,”.
He expressed these words while addressing the workers’ convention in Sialkot on Sunday.
He praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for garnering support from all political parties to strengthen the national economy.
Asif lamented that the PTI came into power in 2018 through rigged elections, undermining the democratic process.
Referring to the events on May 9, he condemned the desecration of the memorials of martyrs and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice.
The defense minister highlighted the stable state of the economy during the previous government of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) before the 2018 elections. He noted that the disqualification of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif under a perceived conspiracy disrupted the progress.
Asif commended the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in striving for the stability and prosperity of the country. He also acknowledged the crucial role played by allied parties in the coalition government, emphasizing the importance of unity.
Furthermore, Asif announced that elections would be held within a month after dissolution of the assemblies and revealed that the PML-N had already initiated its election campaign.
