US dollar continues to surge
The US dollar increased by Rs1.41 paisa in the interbank market.
Karachi: US dollar continues to appreciate against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market.
As per currency dealers, on the first day of the business week, the value of the dollar increased by Rs1.41 to Rs279 in the interbank exchange.
Reportedly at the end of last week, a big increase in the price of the US dollar was observed.
State Bank of Pakistan tweeted, that price of the US dollar increased by Rs1.13 against the rupee in the last business week.
On the other hand, Pakistan Stock Exchange has observed positive business, Hundred Index increased by 72 points to reach 45140 points.
