150 deaths reported as Delhi submerges by floods
Report also told that Yamuna River is at its highest level in 45 years as the nearby settlements are under water.
Delhi: The flood situation in the India’s capital New Delhi continues due to which normal life has been badly affected. Most of the city was submerged by the flood and over 150 people have been reported dead as yet, however, the survivors are swimming to safer places.
According to details, 309 mm rain has been recorded in Delhi, which 91% more than normal.
Roads and schools’ buildings in the village of Manali have been washed away. The capital city Delhi and the villages of Manali in the northern state of Himachal Pradesh have submerged in water. More and more settlements have come under water.
According to international media, around 100 people have died in Himachal Pradesh. 14 deaths have been recorded in Uttar Pradesh. 16 people lost their lives in Haryana and 11 in Punjab while 16 people lost their lives in Uttarakhand.
Report also told that Yamuna River is at its highest level in 45 years as the nearby settlements are under water. Hundreds of families have left their homes and moved to safer places.
