It’s expected that the former federal minister will announce the formation of his new party today.

Former Federal Minister of Defense and former PTI leader Pervez Khattak parted ways with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and today he will announce the formation of a new political party in a press conference.
The press conference is expected to be held in Islamabad or Peshawar, and many important leaders of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) will join alongside Pervez Khattak.
Pervez Khattak had meetings with many former MPs and MNAs in the past few days. It is expected that many former MPs and MNAs will join his new party.
It should be noted that both sons of Pervez Khattak are still members of PTI.
As per sources, Pervez Khattak will decide the political future of his sons.
While addressing the local journalists in Nowshera yesterday, the former defense minister said that his first priority is to establish his own political party.
Additionally, consultations with political associates and file work for the new party are in progress.
Pervez Khattak further said that he has left PTI and will not do politics under the banner of it again.
It should be noted that PTI terminated the basic membership of Pervez Khattak and dismissed him from the party.
