PTI chairman’s Toshakhana case hearing is to resume today as the court summoned both witnesses.

Islamabad: Toshakhana case against the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) is set to resume today as District and Session Court has summoned both witnesses.
Yesterday, Session Judge Humayun Dilawar accepted the request for an exemption from appearance for a day submitted by PTI Chairman.
During the previous hearing, lawyers representing the Election Commission, including Saad Hassan, and PTI Chairman's counsel, Khawaja Haris, were present in the court.
Saad Hassan, representing the Election Commission, presented his evidence during the hearing.
He clarified that he was not submitting new documents to the court but rather providing evidence on the documents already submitted.
He stated that the accounts in Bank Al-Falah are in the names of Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi.
According to Chairman PTI, he transferred the money for the Toshakhana to the bank, and before the return of the money to the relevant party, the court returned it to Chairman PTI.
Chairman PTI’s lawyer, Khawaja Haris, assured the court during the previous hearing that he would ensure his client's presence in court on the next date.
"I will come here on Monday, and I guarantee that Chairman PTI will appear in court," said Khawaja Haris confidently.
