Fahima Awan overcomes tragic news during Umrah
The actress says the moment she received the shocking news of her husband’s passing she felt as if she couldn't breathe.
Karachi: Pakistani actress Fahima Awan said that when she received the news of her husband's passing, she was performing Umrah (pilgrimage) at the Holy Haram, and at that moment, it felt as if her breath had stopped.
Fahima Awan shared her most challenging time during a private TV show, where she opened up about her life's toughest moment.
She said, “About a year ago, when I was in Saudi Arabia for Umrah, my sister-in-law informed me about my husband's passing through a phone call. Maybe Allah chose that place for this news because Allah knows that if I had heard this news somewhere else, I might not have survived, I wouldn't have been able to stay alive,”.
She further added that at that moment, she felt as if she couldn't breathe, and when the attendants standing there saw her condition, they said, "This woman will die," and asked others to take her away and give her water.
Fahima said she wanted to come back immediately after performing Umrah, but she couldn't. She said, “Allah wanted to give me courage, so I performed Umrah first. During Umrah, I felt lifeless, but then I gathered myself and prayed to Allah to keep me alive for my children, as there is no one else for them except me,”.
