Gold price surges by Rs2,000 per tola
The international market witnessed a rise of $3 per ounce of gold.
Karachi: The gold rate has witnessed an increase of thousands of rupees per tola across the country.
According to reports, the international market saw the price of gold per ounce rise by $3, reaching $1965.
Gold rates in local currency markets, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Hyderabad, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, and Multan, experienced a notable rise of Rs2,800 per tola, setting a new price of Rs225,300 per tola.
Furthermore, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs2,143, reaching Rs193,158.
In addition to gold, there has been stability in the prices of silver, with the rates holding steady at Rs2,750 per tola and Rs2,357.68 per 10 grams, respectively.
