ICC suspends Indian Women's Cricket Team captain for 2 matches
Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur suspended for two international matches as she batted on wickets.
New Delhi: Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain of the Indian women's cricket team, faced criticism for setting a negative example when she aggressively knocked down the stumps on Tuesday.
She also directed verbal remarks at the umpires and made fun of Bangladeshi players during a match against Bangladesh.
Taking action on this incident, International Cricket Council (ICC) suspended Harmanpreet Kaur for two International matches.
The captain of the Indian women's team smashed the wickets after being dismissed.
Even during the trophy photoshoot, Harmanpreet made fun of the Bangladeshi players.
