Rawalpindi police complete security arrangements for 11th Muharram procession
More than 1100 officers and personnel will perform security duties: Rawalpindi police.


Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Police have completed their security arrangements for the 11th Muharram procession.
More than 1100 officers and personnel will be on duty to ensure a safe and peaceful event.
According to police sources, around 200 traffic officers and personnel will manage the flow of traffic to ensure smooth movement during the procession.
Additionally, designated entry points and proactive traffic diversions will be in place to maintain order and convenience for the participants.
Expert sharpshooters will be positioned on high-rise buildings along the procession routes to provide added security.
Prior to the commencement of the procession, thorough route inspections and sweeping will be conducted, and all side streets and roads along the route will be sealed.
