Higher Education Department ordered an inquiry into financial mismanagement allegations against the former VC of IUB.
Bahawalpur: Following the scandal involving drugs and sexual harassment at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), the Higher Education Department of South Punjab (HED) has constituted a special inquiry committee to investigate financial mismanagement allegations within the university.
The committee has been tasked with probing into the allegations of financial irregularities and administrative mismanagement against the former Vice-Chancellor.
HED of South Punjab is determined to conduct a thorough investigation into the recent incidents at the university.
Moreover, on July 22, the Higher Education Department of South Punjab also announced the formation of an inquiry committee to investigate the recent events at the university.
