Firing kills father, son in DHA Lahore

Lahore: In an unfortunate incident, unidentified people shot and killed father and son in Defense-A area.

According to the police, unknown persons opened fire on the Rifle Range Road in Defense-A, resulting in the death of father and son.

As soon as the incident was reported, police and forensic teams reached the scene and collected the evidence.

Police told that the deceased duo have been identified as Mehmood Shafi and Tasawwur, who were junk workers by profession.

It has been reported by the police that the incident of double murder seems to be the result of long-standing enmity because a case of brother-in-law's murder was registered against the deceased in Sabzazar police station in 2021.

However, police have started recording the statements of the victim's family for further investigation in this regard.
