Karachi: The government and opposition parties are deliberating on various candidates.
MQM Pakistan and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) have put forth the name of former bureaucrat Younus Dagha as their preferred choice for the prominent Sindh Chief Minister.
The final decision will be taken after the analysis of the National and Provincial Assemblies' seats, following which the provincial governments will conduct general elections within three months.
Consultations are underway for the crucial position of Sindh Chief Minister.
According to sources, MQM Pakistan and Grand Democratic Alliance have initially proposed the name of former bureaucrat Yunus Dagha.
The opposition leaders in Sindh Assembly are collectively proposing three names for the position of Chief Minister.
Sources reveal that MQM and GDA leaders will hold another meeting today, while a delegation from Grand Democratic Alliance will visit the United Pakistan's Center in Bahadurabad, Karachi.
