28th death anniversary of actress Nadira being observed today
August 6, 1995, Nadira was assassinated by unknown assailants in Liberty market, Lahore.


Lahore: The actress Nadira conquered over millions of hearts by making her mark in the Pakistani cinema industry in a very short period of time with her appealing beauty and vibrant dancing style.
She had a distinct style of expressing herself and communicating with charm. Nadira's 28th death anniversary is being observed today.
Nadira was born in Lahore in 1968. Her first film was "Aakhri Jang," however "Nishaan" got released earlier, making it her debut film in the records.
In most of her films, she had outstanding acting abilities and elegance, and her beautiful beauty established her status in the profession. She had the opportunity to work alongside industry heavyweights such as Sultan Rahi, Ghulam Mohiuddin, and Ismaeel Shah.
Furthermore, she captivated the audience by playing the allotted characters in her films beautifully. Her career in Hollywood lasted only eight years, yet she became the beating heart of millions of followers.
Actress notable films include "Aakhri Jang," "Nachay Nagin," "Hakoomat," "Tohfa," "Mafroor," "Zakhmi Aurat," "Jadoogarni," and "Godfather," among others. "Commando Action," "Patthar Sheran De," "Baadal," "Nachay Nagin," "Meri Awaz," "Nachay Nagin," "Mafroor," "Jagga Daku," "Tees Maar Khan," and "Zakhmi Aurat."
The majority of Nadira's movies were in Punjabi or included dubs, although she also made a noteworthy cameo in the Urdu movie "Meri Awaz." "Tere chuney se gora yay rang mera" and "Main yunhi dekhun tujhay, Ankhoon (eyes) ki pyaas bhujay," two of her songs from that movie, were incredibly well-liked.
Nadira married a gold merchant Aijaz Hussain, and was blessed with two children. After her marriage, she bade farewell to showbiz industry.
Unfortunately, on August 6, 1995, Nadira was assassinated by unknown assailants in Liberty market, Lahore.
