PSX witnessed a record increase of more than 400 points in the Hundred Index.
Karachi: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has witnessed a record increase of 440 points to reach 49 thousand 25 points.
On the first day of the business week, PSX experienced a positive upward trend.
The Hundred Index rose by 270 points to reach 48,810 points.
However, with the passage of time, some fluctuations were seen in this boom, and till about 11:30, the index was trading at an increase of 379 points, after which the index reached 48,964 points.
During the last business week, Hundred Index crossed the limit of 49 thousand points at one point, but this limit could not be maintained.
A few days back, the PSX 100 index reached its highest level of 2 years at 48 thousand points, while in a few weeks; an increase of 5 thousand points was recorded in the index.
