ECP decides to remove PTI chairman from party leadership
Election Commission will issue a notification to remove him from his position shortly.
Lahore: The Election Commission has made the decision to remove the Chairman of PTI from his party leadership position.
Following the verdict in the Toshakhana case, the Election Commission initiated the process of filing the political finance wing.
The notification to remove him from his position will be issued shortly.
An important meeting of the Election Commission was convened regarding the approval of the first digital population census, and it is expected that decisions regarding the commencement of new constituencies across the country will be made.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced the analysis of assemblies on 9th August.
Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah stated that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Asad Durrani are not included in the list; an impartial person will be appointed.
The elections are likely to take place in February or March.
