Lahore: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has once again summoned former Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar in assets beyond known sources of income case on Tuesday.

NAB sources claim that Usman Buzdar has been asked to appear before the graft-busting authority on August 15 with supplementary documentation.

The anti-graft watchdog called Buzdar 11 times, but he only showed up twice.

For the construction of a dam in Dera Ghazi Khan (DG Khan), former CM Punjab Buzdar was accused of giving contracts to his favorites.

Additionally, the National Accountability Bureau opened a probe into the hirings and firings of government employees while Usman Buzdar was the chief minister of Punjab.

According to sources, the accountability watchdog in Lahore has started an investigation into the hirings and firings of government employees when Buzdar was in office and has asked the Services Secretary for "complete records."

According to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) sources, claims of millions of rupees in appointment and transfer bribery were made during Buzdar's leadership.
