Hearing of Imran’s jail transfer case postponed till Aug 11
The court has also summoned the response from federal and Punjab government till Friday.
Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Wednesday postponed the hearing of the case of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s transfer from Attock jail to Adiala jail till August 11, GNN reported.
According to details, chief justice of IHC Aamer Farooq said that he will issue the order regarding chairman PTI.
The court has also summoned the response from federal and Punjab government till Friday.
Lawyer Sher Afzal Murawwat appeared before the court and said that meeting time is till 6 o’clock. The judge said we will issue the order regarding meeting with chairman PTI.
He also addressed the issue of lawyer Naeem Haider Panjotha’s appearance before Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). To which the court said: “We will look into that matter with administrative perspective”.
Regarding the jail transfer of Imran Khan, Justice Aamer Farooq said that we have to make sure that we proceed following the law and you will be facilitated as per law.
