Gold price increases by Rs.1,100 per tola
In the International market, the price of pure gold of 24 karats decreased by $1 per ounce to $1926 per ounce, as reported by the association.
Karachi: The Gold price in Pakistan increased by Rs.1,100 per tola on Wednesday.
As per the information provided by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the cost of 24-carat gold experienced an increase of Rs. 1,100 per tola, reaching a value of Rs. 222,200.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat pure gold increased by Rs943 and traded at Rs1,90,501 per 10 grams.
In the International market, the price of pure gold of 24 karats decreased by $1 per ounce to $1926 per ounce, as reported by the association.
Meanwhile, the yellow metal of 22 karats of gold which is usually used for jewellery making, sold at the rate of Rs1,74,626 per 10 grams.
On the other hand, the price of 24 karat silver per tola and 10 grams also remained the same at Rs2,750 and Rs2,357.68 respectively.
Yesterday, the information provided by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the cost of 24-carat gold experienced a decline of Rs.600 per tola, reaching a value of Rs. 221,100.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat pure gold decreased by Rs514 and traded at Rs189,558 per 10 grams.
While the yellow metal of 22 karats of gold which is usually used for jewellery making, sold at the rate of Rs1,73,761 per 10 grams.
In the International market, the price of pure gold of 24 karats massively decreased by $13 per ounce to $1927 per ounce.
Earlier today, Rupee appreciated against US dollar in interbank on Wednesday.
The Pakistani rupee (PKR) gained momentum against the US dollar (USD) in the interbank market after continuing an upward trend in two consecutive sessions.
According to the central bank, the rupee gained Rs 0.45 against the US dollar in interbank trading to settle at Rs287.46. The US dollar closed at Rs287.91.
In the open market, the US dollar is being sold at Rs294.50, said forex dealers.
