According to the latest data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics, the weekly inflation rate has seen a further 0.69% increase, pushing the annual inflation rate to 30.82%.
The report highlights that during the past week, the prices of 29 essential items have surged, with red chili, country-made powdered spices, lentils, garlic, sugar, chicken, salt, eggs, and electricity witnessing price hikes.
While 5 items experienced a decrease in prices, 17 items remained stable over the week.
