In the International market, the price of pure gold of 24 karats decreased by $4 per ounce to $1918 per ounce, as reported by the association.


Karachi: Gold prices declined in Pakistan on Friday and broke a two-day winning streak.
As per the information provided by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the cost of 24-carat gold experienced decline of Rs.400 per tola, reaching a value of Rs222,400.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat pure gold increased by Rs343 and traded at Rs190,672.
The yellow metal of 22 karats of gold which is usually used for jewellery making, sold at the rate of Rs1,74,783 per 10 grams.
On the other hand, the price of 24 karat silver per tola and per 10 grams also remained the same at Rs2,750 and Rs2,357.68 respectively.

Yesterday, as per the information provided by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the cost of 24-carat gold experienced an increase of Rs. 1,100 per tola, reaching a value of Rs222,800.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat pure gold increased by Rs514 and traded at Rs191,500.
