Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Saturday issued a written verdict in the case of Adiala jail transfer and jail facilities provided to chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan.
According to details, IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq issued a written order in which a report has been sought regarding the reasons for keeping Imran Khan in Attock Jail.
The court said in its verdict that reasons for keeping former prime minister in Attock jail should be provided in the court.
In the verdict, the court has also has sought support on whether PTI Chairman can be given home cooked food or not.
The verdict further told that there is nothing on record that prevents the prisoner from meeting more than once a week. According to the prison rules, he should be allowed to meet friends, relatives and lawyers, giving him proper space for prayers and English translated Holy Quran.

Lawyer Naeem Panjotha’s statement
On the other hand, Imran Khan's legal affairs spokesman Naeem Panjotha said that neither a decision has yet been taken on providing healthy food to Imran, nor he has been transferred to Adiala Jail. The court verdict was issued when meeting time was over.
Naeem Panjutha added that basic human rights of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaaf are being taken away, we have placed all the complaints before IHC.
