Islamabad: President Dr. Arif Alvi returns 13 bills to the parliament without signing, on Tuesday.
According to sources, the president returned the laws to the parliament and did not sign them.
These bills include the Federal Public Service Commission, Amendment Bill, Federal Urdu University Amendment Bill, NFC Institute Multan Amendment Bill, National Commission for Human Development Amendment Bill, National Institute for Technology Bill, Code of Criminal Procedure Amendment Bill, National Skills University Amendment Bill, Import Export Amendment Bill, Higher Education Commission Amendment Bill, Pakistan Institute of Management Science and Technology Bill and Horizon University Bill.
Earlier, President Dr. Arif Alvi on Monday approved the names of 696 personalities for awarding civil awards on Pakistan Day on March 23, 2024.
According to details, 397 individuals will receive civil honors in recognition of their outstanding work in a variety of sectors.
As per details, civil honours will also be awarded to 299 martyrs of the Covid-19 epidemic in which dozens of doctors were included.
