Riyadh: A decline in the price of gold has been recorded in the Saudi gold market.
According to Saudi Press Agency, a decrease in the price of gold was recorded in the gold market. The price of 24 carats per gram of gold was 228.11 Saudi Riyals.
The 22 carats gold price was SAR209.10 and the price of 18 carats per gram was recorded at 171.08 riyals, while the price of 21 carats per gram was recorded as 199.60 riyals.
In the gold market, the price of a 21-carat eight-gram guinea was 1916.12 Riyals. A 22-carat guinea was of 2007.37 Riyals, while a 24-carat eight-gram guinea was 2189.86 Riyals.
On the other hand, the price of gold per ounce decreased by $6 in the global market, after which the new price reached the level of 1894 dollars.
It is pertinent to note that despite the decline in the price in international market, the price of gold per tola increased in the local exchange markets of Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and Peshawar.
The price of gold per tola increased by Rs300, after which the new price became Rs2,25,300. While 10 grams of gold became expensive by Rs257 to settle at Rs1,93,158.
