A LHC division bench led by Justice Muhammad Waheed Khan has rendered the decision after deliberating on the matter of granting bail to former Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in confidential cases.

Lahore: The Lahore High Court ruled on Monday dismissed the Punjab government’s appeal and upheld the single bench's order prohibiting the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab President, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, in any undisclosed cases.
A two-member bench of the LHC, led by Justice Muhammad Waheed Khan, rendered the decision after deliberating on the matter of granting bail to former Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in confidential cases.
The Punjab government had appealed against the single bench's decision in the higher court.
Earlier, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had released an inquiry report detailing alleged corruption involving Parvez Elahi in the allocation of contracts.
The NAB report alleged that the PTI leader, along with his close associates, sanctioned 116 development projects for Gujarat.
Furthermore, the report implicated the former chief minister in instances of authority and office misuse.
NAB's accusations centered on his alleged manipulation of influence to award contract rights for projects to his favored contractors.
