Dengue virus rapidly spreads, 59 more cases in Punjab
The health department said that the number of dengue patients in Punjab has reached 802 this year.
Lahore: The attack of dengue virus is rapidly spreading every day in Punjab as 59 more patients have been reported in the whole province during 24 hours. The total number of dengue cases this year reached the toll of 802.
According to the Punjab Health Department, 27 dengue patients were reported from Lahore yesterday (Wednesday), 09 from Faisalabad, 08 from Rawalpindi and 04 from Multan.
The health department said that the number of dengue patients in Punjab has reached 802 this year. 70 patients of the disease are currently under treatment in the hospitals of province, out of which 40 patients are admitted in the hospitals of Lahore.
