Karachi: A dedicated team of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) reached Brussels to speak with the authorities for resuming operations of Pakistani airlines in European nations on Thursday.
The CAA delegation's task is to discuss various topics with the European Commission and notify European authorities about the preparations for upcoming technical sessions.
According to the reliable sources state that the negotiations will be essential to the process of reviving Pakistani airlines in European airspace, particularly Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
Top officials like the Deputy Director-General and Director of Airworthiness are on the delegation representing Pakistan's Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA). Between Pakistani and European colleagues, their visit aims to promote cooperation and understanding.
Addressing the concerns voiced by European aviation authorities, measures for flight safety and the assessment of pilot licenses will be one of the discussions' main topics.
The restriction that has prevented Pakistani airlines, including PIA, from operating flights to European nations since 2020 may be lifted as a result of these conversations.
