Girl's brother and father were arrested who confessed that they killed boy and girl in the name of honor.


Karachi: A boy and a girl were killed as a result of firing on Abul Hasan Isfahani Road in Karachi early in the morning.
According to the police, the girl killed in the firing was identified as Laraib and the boy as Ahsan.
Police said that after the murder, girl's brother and father were arrested who confessed that they killed boy and girl in the name of honor.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP), the father and son arrested in the case have been identified as Rafiq and Abdullah.
It was also told by the police that Laraib and Ahsan were friends and at the time of incident both were sitting in the car.
SP Sohrab Goth said that girl's father Rafiq opened fire at the car and later confessed the act.
He also told that there were multiple bullet marks on the vehicle and seven pistol cartridges were recovered from the spot.
On the other hand, another firing incident took place near Pak Colony Bara Board Noorani Masjid as a result of which one person was killed and another injured who were shifted to a nearby hospital.
It is stated that the killed person has not been identified yet, however the injured person has been identified as Asif.
