Peshawar: Severe earthquake tremors have been felt in various cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the federal capital Islamabad on Monday.
According to the details, fear and panic spread in the provincial capital Peshawar, Attock, Swat, Deer Bala, Malakand, Shabqadar, Abbottabad, Mardan and its surroundings.
According to the seismological center, the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.2 on the Richter scale, while the epicenter was in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.
Seismological center said the depth of the earthquake has been recorded at 184 km underground.
There have been no reports of any loss of life or property due to the earthquake. However, people came out of their houses reciting holy verses.
