The judge granted bail against a surety bond of Rs500,000.


Rawalpindi: The Accountability Court Rawalpindi Tuesday granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi till September 12 in Toshakhana case.
Due to the leave of Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Basheer, the duty judge Abu Al-Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain conducted the hearing of the bail plea.
The judge granted bail against a surety bond of Rs500,000.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi had summoned Bushra Bibi today at 11:00 am and was directed to appear with a male family member.
Bushra Bibi is accused of taking a locket, chain, earrings, two rings and a bracelet. Apart from this, there is also an allegation of taking gold and diamond necklace, gold and diamond bracelet.
According to NAB Rawalpindi, the former first lady is accused of taking gold and diamond ring, earrings and bracelet watch. The gifts were not deposited in the Toshakhana to estimate the value.
