Islamabad: Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman is expected to visit Pakistanon September 10.
According to sources, Mohammed bin Salman will fly to Pakistan on September 10 and remain there for about six hours before leaving on a state visit to India for the G-20 summit.
The crown prince will meet with interim PM Kakar, General Asim Munir, the COAS, and other officials during his brief visit to Pakistan.
A diplomatic source claims that topics of mutual interest would be discussed.
According to reports, MBS will also talk about Saudi Arabia's plans to build an oil refinery in Pakistan.
On November 21, the Saudi monarch was scheduled to arrive in Islamabad for the first time in more than four years, and Pakistan was expecting he would bring news of yet another financial rescue plan.
However, the much-anticipated visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Pakistan was postponed due to unknown reasons.
“The visit is being rescheduled. New dates will be mutually finalised by the two sides,” Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra had said.
Salman had also postponed his visit to neighboring India as well as other Asian countries.
