Train fare hike will start from September 2.

Lahore: In response to the recent surge in fuel prices, Pakistan Railways has announced an increase in train fares.
Train fares for Express, Passenger, and Intercity trains have been raised by 5%, along with a similar 5% hike in parcel and luggage rates.
According to the Railway Department, these fare adjustments will come into effect on September 2nd.
It's worth noting that this marks the second fare increase within a span of 16 days.
Previously, on August 16th, train fares were raised by 10% due to similar reasons.
