Faisalabad: In the wake of soaring inflation, a wave of unemployment has hit Faisalabad as WASA (Water Supply and Sewerage Authority) terminated the employment of over 700 daily wage workers due to financial crises.
The industrial city now faces the brunt of unemployment as WASA ordered the closure of more than 700 homes' stoves.
WASA Faisalabad issued an official notification regarding the terminations, citing an inability to bear the expenses any longer.
