WASA terminates over 700 daily wagers in Faisalabad
WASA Faisalabad released an official notice concerning the termination.
Faisalabad: In the wake of soaring inflation, a wave of unemployment has hit Faisalabad as WASA (Water Supply and Sewerage Authority) terminated the employment of over 700 daily wage workers due to financial crises.
The industrial city now faces the brunt of unemployment as WASA ordered the closure of more than 700 homes' stoves.
WASA Faisalabad issued an official notification regarding the terminations, citing an inability to bear the expenses any longer.
The Director Administration stated that daily wage employees would not be retained amidst the financial challenges.
