Shah Mehmood Qureshi is currently in jail on 14-day judicial remand in the cypher inquiry case.

Islamabad: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Lahore Saturday rejected the interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi in May 09 tragedy cases.
According to details, the interim bail of former PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry was also dismissed for non-appearance in the case of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) house siege in Model Town.
It is pertinent to note that Shah Mehmood Qureshi is currently in jail on 14-day judicial remand in the cypher inquiry case.
Earlier on August 30, a special court in Islamabad rejected the appeal to extend the physical remand of former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who was arrested in a case registered under the Official Secrets Act 1923 related to diplomatic cyphers, and granted him 14 days judicial remand. He was sent to jail on judicial remand.
