The Caretaker Prime Minister further stated that it is not the time to give child comforts to the people.

Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said that electricity is not an issue on which there should be a wheel-jam strike and we have a lot of sympathy for the section that is burdened with electricity bills.
Talking to a private news channel, the caretaker prime minister said: “The decision regarding closing the shops early at night will be taken by the provinces and the decision will be implemented soon”.
We don't want to make a quick decision on the power issue that has to be taken back later, he added.
Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar also said the team will propose short-term and long-term solutions to the problem.
It is pertinent to note that Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar has described the uneven taxation system as the reason for high electricity bills.
The Caretaker Prime Minister further stated that it is not the time to give child comforts to the people.
Those responsible for the increase in electricity bills will be determined, but the question is, what is the solution to the problem of these electricity bills today, he stated.
“The uneven taxation system in excess electricity bills is also indicating this problem and no one paid attention to this uneven taxation system,” said PM.
