Terrorists successfully fled after the attack, says a police spokesperson.
Quetta: A hand grenade attack targeted a police mobile in the Shalkot area of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan.
According to details, two police officers were injured in the hand grenade attack and have been shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment.
The terrorists responsible for the attack managed to flee successfully.
On the other hand, according to the spokesperson of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Balochistan, a successful operation resulted in the killing of 5 terrorists in the Washuk district of Balochistan.
The CTD officials conducted a raid based on secret information in the Basima area, where they encountered the presence of terrorists.
Upon attempting to apprehend them, the terrorists opened fire.
According to the spokesperson, a crossfire ensued, resulting in the deaths of five terrorists, while their three accomplices managed to escape.
During the search of the premises, a significant amount of arms, ammunition, and explosives were recovered.
