Renowned Indian lawyer and former Solicitor General Harish Salve, known for his high-profile legal cases, including the defense of spy Kulbhushan Jadhav, has entered wedlock for the third time.
According to reports by International media, the wedding ceremony took place on Sunday, August 3rd, in a church in London, with several prominent Indian personalities in attendance.
Harish Salve, along with his former wife Meenakshi Salve, has chosen Trina, his new partner, as his companion for the journey of life.
The wedding ceremony saw the presence of notable Indian figures, including Nita Ambani, Lalit Modi, and Ajay Piramal.
Salve and his former wife Meenakshi divorced in June 2020 after 38 years of marriage. They share two daughters, Sakshi and Saanya.
The 68-year-old lawyer, who practices in the Supreme Court of India, is renowned for handling high-profile cases, including Kulbhushan Jadhav's defense, for which he charged a token fee of just one rupee.
He has also been involved in significant cases such as the Beasna gas dispute and Salman Khan's hit-and-run case.
Harish Salve gained prominence when he argued the first anti-dumping case in the Supreme Court of India.
He served as Solicitor General of India from November 1999 to November 2002 and was appointed as the Queen's Counsel for England and Wales in January.
He obtained his LLB degree from Nagpur University and was appointed as Senior Counsel in the Delhi High Court in 1992 before becoming Solicitor General of India.
Salve was called to the Blackstone Chambers and was appointed a Recorder of the Crown Court in England in 2013.
In 2015, Harish Salve took up Salman Khan's 2002 hit-and-run case, where the actor had been sentenced to five years in prison before being acquitted.
