London: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has made the decision to return to Pakistan, opting for a commercial flight from London to Lahore, bypassing Islamabad, according to sources within the Muslim League-N party.
Nawaz Sharif, accompanied by his daughter and the party's chief organizer, Maryam Nawaz, is scheduled to arrive in Lahore via a commercial flight on October 15.
Party officials are actively preparing for their reception at Lahore Airport.
Party sources have revealed that Nawaz Sharif has chosen to land directly in Lahore instead of Islamabad, and his homecoming will take place via a regular commercial flight.
According to party insiders, Nawaz Sharif has assigned the central leadership the task of organizing his reception, with Maryam Nawaz overseeing reception arrangements.
Organizational officials have been instructed to ensure maximum attendance at the reception gathering.
