Speaking at a press conference in Colombo before the Pakistan-India match, Babar Azam said, "We are continuously playing cricket, and our focus is on the match. We have also done rigorous training, and it's a part of the game. It's important to maintain players' morale. We knew what to expect when coming here, and playing here can be beneficial for us."
Babar Azam emphasized that the players selected are the best, and there's no difficulty in the selection process.
"Our focus remains intact. Matches and tournaments are won by focusing on performance," he added.
Regarding the World Cup, Babar Azam stated, "We are keeping an eye on the Asia Cup. We've almost finalized our squad for the World Cup, and everyone in the team is working towards improvement."
He further mentioned that players' hearts don't break; whoever is selected is the best. Players are chosen based on their performance, and fast bowlers win matches and tournaments.
