Islamabad: Pakistan extends its assistance to Morocco following a severe earthquake, says Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar.
Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar expressed sorrow over the loss of precious lives and damage caused by a powerful earthquake in Morocco.
In a statement, he conveyed his sympathies to the affected families and expressed Pakistan's willingness to aid Morocco in this challenging time.
The earthquake, measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale, struck Morocco, resulting in the tragic loss of 632 lives, with hundreds more injured.
Besides claiming lives, the quake caused extensive damage to several ancient structures and residential areas, burying them under debris.
Numerous vehicles were also trapped beneath the rubble.
