11 chicken pox cases reported in Peshawar
He said hospitals have made separate wards for chicken pox patients.
Peshawar: Director General Health Services Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Shaukat Ali said that 11 cases of chicken pox have been reported in Peshawar.
Talking to a private news channel, Dr. Shaukat Ali stated: “11 cases of chicken pox have been reported in Khyber and 13 in Chitral”.
Dr. Shaukat added that health teams have been sent to the affected districts. Chicken pox is not a dangerous disease, but the infected patient can spread it to others.
He further stated that duration of chicken pox is 5 to 10 days. Hospitals have made separate wards for chicken pox patients.
