Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has offered his perspective on the proposed election date in response to President Arif Alvi's letter.
Kakar emphasized that the primary authority for setting the election date rests with the Election Commission.
While acknowledging the President's suggested election date, Kakar stated that he believes the Election Commission will make a timely announcement based on suitable conditions to ensure transparent elections.

Regarding legal and political cases, Kakar indicated that his position does not permit him to comment on court matters.
Such cases will be determined by law enforcement agencies in accordance with the law.
Addressing the situation of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Kakar emphasized that decisions concerning Nawaz Sharif's case are within the purview of the courts, and they will be executed in accordance with the law.
On government measures, the caretaker prime minister noted that the market prices of goods are gradually decreasing due to government initiatives.
He expressed optimism that the value of the rupee will stabilize with improved civil institution performance.

Finally, he unequivocally stated that no political party should take action against the country's interests, and the events of the May 9 tragedy are unacceptable.
