Lahore: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Thursday approved the treatment appeal of former Punjab Governor Omer Sarfaraz Cheema.
According to details, former Punjab Governor and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Omer Sarfaraz Cheema had appealed for treatment in the court.
The court, while accepting the appeal, directed Omer to be transferred to the hospital for treatment.
It is pertinent to note that Omer Sarfaraz Cheema is in jail in the cases of May 9 arson and he has been handed over to the police on physical remand till September 14.
