The landing mishap caused 8 injuries.
Mumbai: A private plane experienced a runway mishap during landing at Mumbai's airport.
According to reports from a foreign news agency, the VSR Ventures Learjet 45 aircraft VT-DBL operating flight from Visakhapatnam to Mumbai skidded on the runway, while landing on runway 27 at Mumbai airport.
The crash resulted in a fire.
Eight individuals were injured in the incident, comprising two crew members and six passengers on board.
Following the accident, the injured parties were swiftly transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
Authorities have disclosed that the plane had arrived in Mumbai from Visakhapatnam.
The incident is attributed to reduced braking efficiency and visibility was 700m because of heavy rain.
Fortunately, no significant damage was reported in the accident.
