The on-time departure ratio of flights is 72 percent: PIA spokesperson.

Karachi: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has witnessed a gradual return to normalcy in its flight operations.
According to a PIA spokesperson, the national airline successfully operated a total of 72 flights today.
These included 18 domestic and 54 international flights, signifying an upward trend in its services.
Furthermore, the spokesperson reported a noteworthy improvement in the punctuality of PIA flights, with an impressive on-time departure ratio of 72 percent.
This development indicates an enhanced operational efficiency within the airline.
Despite these positive signs, it is essential to note that PIA still faces significant financial challenges.
The airline's monthly deficit has escalated to a staggering 12 billion rupees, while monthly income stands at 22 billion, with expenses reaching 34 billion.
Efforts to address these financial concerns are ongoing.
