Islamabad: Caretaker Health Services Minister Dr. Nadeem Jan has affirmed strong commitment to enhancing immunization coverage under Expanded Program on Immunization to achieve Universal Immunization Coverage.
Speaking at a briefing in Islamabad today, Health Minister stated that solarization of health facilities offers huge advantages, particularly with inconsistent power supply.
He said that Ministry of National Health Services and Regulations is taking initiative of Solarization of 400 EPI Health Facilities across Pakistan in the first phase. The initiative will improve the overall effectiveness of immunization programs.
The Minister expressed confidence in Pakistan's ability to enhance the Immunization Coverage through continued dedication and cooperation achieving the Universal Immunization Coverage.
